I didn't realize that the blog hasn't been updated in a week. Seems like the last week of 2010 has just flown by. The year has ended on a positive note though with the store starting up. We have big plans for In The Craft for 2011. With about a month gone by of running the store, we learned what to keep doing and what to do differently. Everything we do for 2011 we plan on doing bigger and better. It'll take a little bit of time, but the changes will be seen. It's easy to say what we're going to do, it's just putting it to work. If you've been following us from the start, thank you. We're only going to get better from here. Stay tuned for the moves that are to come. Everyone have a fun and safe new year.

HOLIDAY TRADITION
Last year during the holidays of 2009, Jordan Brand brought us the Space Jam XI. This holiday season, they came back with the Cool Grey XI. Next year in 2011, Jordan Brand is making sure the holidays are good for everyone. It has been confirmed that the Concord XI will be released around this time next year. There has also been confirmation that the Black/Cement III will make a return during the holidays of 2011. Just after the Cool Grey XI release, everyone now has something more to look forward to next year. Which pair will you be after?

ATTENTION TO DETAIL
The online store is back up and running after being down a few days. Hopefully the changes are noticeable to everyone. We still have some minor additions to be made to the store, but we'll do it throughout the week without shutting it down again. Some of the apparel has been added, but we haven't gotten around to doing the shoes yet. There's still a lot more of everything to come so just keep checking the store as everything will be added slowly. We got a lot of orders in lately so hopefully that'll continue. Feel free to spend your Christmas money with In The Craft. Anyways, check the store for what's new.
Here's what we sent out yesterday.

MAINTENANCE MODE
Our online store is going to be going through some maintenance throughout the weekend. It'll probably be down starting tomorrow and then continuing as the weekend goes on. We'll be adding more products, particularly apparel and sneakers. Not sure if we'll do it all at once, but it'll at least be started. Basically, the updates that we'll make will show you what we originally had in mind for the store. We're not a specialty store in snapback hats like some of you might be thinking since that's all we have up right now. You'll start to see rare streetwear, rare vintage sportswear, and rare sneakers of all kinds. The goal was to bring the best of everything, not just specialize in one section. Anyways, some changes to the store design will also be made as far as the set up and how it all looks. Hopefully you all will like it better. We need to try making it more available to everyone looking for what we have. Not really sure how long to expect it to be down, so we don't want to guarantee all of you when it'll be back up and running. It's going to take some time though so the entire weekend might not be out of the question. We will definitely update everyone once it's open again though. In the meantime, you can continue to follow us here on the blog. And if you haven't yet, be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook. Thanks.

THE DEATH OF HESH
Everybody say hello to Mr. Soo. To go along with chopping of his hesh hair, he wanted to show his support for us here at In The Craft. We appreciate everyone who supports us, even though we could use a lot more of you. For anyone that wants to advertise for us, shoot us an email of what you got and we'll post you on the blog. We might eventually start offering discounts for those who advertise In The Craft, so it'll be beneficial for both you and us. Say thanks to Soo for starting the whole idea for us though. And be sure you stay up to date with all of our pages. Follow us on Facebook too since we just made a fan page. Thanks Soo!

I met with Reg today and we decided that it's time to get the store going. We will officially be opening the In The Craft store tomorrow. For now, everything you see will be hats. We're still working on the apparel and sneaker portion. All of that stuff will be updated probably next week. The shop will open at 6:00pm tomorrow. Spread the word and check us out when we launch. Here's a peak at what you'll see.

BETWEEN THE LINES
Alright, so I've been noticing that the page views for this blog have continued to rise and rise. I guess that means we kinda have a decent amount of supporters and followers. So to start, thank you to everyone who is showing love and anticipating the opening of our online shop. We had originally planned to have it ready by the end of last week, but as you can see, that didn't happen. Right now we're thinking about doing it this week or maybe even next week. We really want to just have everything perfect before we open it. Some of the stuff we've had to do has taken longer than either of us had expected. We definitely are coming soon though. And if you're a supporter, tell everyone you know to follow us. We're working on a few ways to get the word spread, but having your help will make things easier for us. If you're reading this then make sure you follow us on Twitter too. A lot of updates will come through there, not just here on the blog. We have big things planned, so hang in there with us.

CAN I KICK IT?
Here's the trailer for an upcoming documentary of A Tribe Called Quest. It's called "Beats, Rhymes & Fights" and is directed by Mike Rapaport. No details about when it's going to come out, but I'll be watching out for when the information is released. Enjoy.
